The Misty Demo - Source code

Post by SToS »

Found some more code in old archives of which I have no recollection of where I obtained them.

I have searched for its origins and as much as I can gather, is that they are source codes to screens in The Misty Demos.

The questions are di the source code ever get released or did these three get distributed on a coverdisk or PD disk?

I have source for the LARD, COUNTRY, and BEER screens in STOS basic.

I'll upload them if nobody else has knowledge of them being available anywhere else as my previous searches and post regarding the Missiing Link source code was not needed.

Hi!

Please do post. I had these back in the day - they were sent as a bonus to early registrants for Misty - but I've never seen them online. Awesome!

These are the 4 x disks of source code that I found in the STOS Facebook group. Probably the same thing you're referring to?
MissingLink4DiskImage.zip

Not them, that's for The Missing Link not Misty.
Thanks for looking in Facebook though.

Sorry, downloaded the wrong file in my haste to upload my own STOS source code folder on my Dropbox account. I'll take a look on Marcer's FTP and see if he's managed to find it amongst the thousands of disks he's preserved.

No problem, I appreciate you looking. I just don't want to make the mistake of posting what I have publicly to find out they are already out there.
By any chance is Marcer's FTP still public these days?, I remember it way back.

He sold copies of it on a USB stick last year and there are tools to auto-update your USB copy. Not sure if he's handing out access to it any more. I'll ask him.
