Disable the floppy check at boot?

In another thread I was asking about skipping any remaining AUTO boot programs after exiting the one I'm working on. Thanks to the help there it is working now.

But still it takes a while to get to the Desktop due to the floppy check. Anyone have a way to disable the check during the boot? I seem to remember MagiC had a patch where you could specify no drives hooked up and prevent the check.

Is that the way for TOS also or is there another?
