Hello, currently I use Paula ][ on my TT and Falcon, but on Falcon it uses only STE/TT sound hardware and not Falcon sound, DSP-Support also would be welcome to accelerate in MiNT/Multitasking GEM app. My TT and Falcon have access to the Windows machine with the mod file share with and without MiNT. It should be able to play more than the standard 4 voice MOD format (I have about 60 GB of files in different formats (669, ahx, far, hvl, it, med, mmd, mnd, mo3, mod, mol, mtm, nst, oct, okt, rr, s3m, smp, stm, xm, xpl, I think some of the files are up to 16 or even 32 voices) and another wish would be to have playlist support or (like Paula ][) random play of all files in a folder. Is there any, maybe also with some fullscreen graphical effects (compare for example with Inertia and Grind on MS-DOS) would be nice, it could be proper GEM software or something fullscreen.
What is your sugestion, what is your favourite MOD player on TT and Falcon?

Re: Sugestion for good MOD-Payer/Tracker for TT and Falcon
On my CT60 Falcon I prefer mxPlay, it plays a lot of audio format including most MOD-formats. I don't think I have tested it on a 030 Falcon, but it looks like there's a DSPmod-based module there so it should play MODs with 4-8 channels using the DSP. DSPmod has really great sound quality, with interpolation and surround it sounds infinitely better than on the STE or Amiga.

As I'm the author of mxPlay, it would be unfair to point only to that one. MegaPlayer is also great because it runs on 030, supports some other formats than MOD and ... has an equalizer! Something I've been meaning to add to mxPlay for years (to be precise, include support for Whip! modules but use the DMA as input, not mic).

Hallo mirko,
is MegaPlayer anywhere available for download? I would give it a try on my Falcon030 or on my Milan040 if it's going to work on my Milan. According to AtariUpToDate it's freeware.

mxPlay works quite nice on my Milan but it needs a lot of horse power. I highly recommand using a 68060 CPU.

Unfortunately MegaPlayer is a Falcon-only player. As for download, for instance here: https://ftp.untergrund.net/users/ltk_ts ... GPL116.ZIP
Re: Sugestion for good MOD-Payer/Tracker for TT and Falcon
For TT I like JAM (just another music player?) It actually has two versions, one for Falcon using DSP and one for STe/TT using DMA. Only downside is I find it a bit buggy/crashy.
