I received the unit yesterday, along with a RGB - Scart cable, so I can have fun with my very first Atari!
No experience what so ever! Wish me luck! lol

Do you need setup the sdcard before you use it on the unit and can write to the card on the atari to transfer games copies.

You can setup the SD card in a modern PC computer,
or Mac, or a Linux one

As well, the used SD card format can be compatible by the ST/E
computer and a modern PC/Mac/Linux, that
is clearly the preferred way to manage the SD card contents.

You can transfer the contents using your modern computer,
and use the software in the ST/E computer

nice job, i must congrat you for what you have done here,

If the answer reside in delay needed by your adapter to boot
i suppose i can't use the 5v out of the meanwell powersupply,
but maybe, i was thinking with a differed start, would it be possible to do it without overflowing the device (too much current) ?
also what is the min/max supported current ?

Personally, I usually power it using an external 1A USB output power supply,
as well the less tested is 500 mA and the greater 2A, but really anything over
300 - 400 mA will be more than enough

If you are asking if the device can be powered up by the internal 5V
(many of us are using the meanwell RD-50A or similar modern power
source replacement), the answer is yes, you can feed it with the internal 5 Volts
power line.

Last week i got my Hd card, works like a dream! Tested wit Intenso 16 gb class 10, Muller 16 gb class 10.
