Original analog video without I/O board? Possible!

Ah, I do not have the IO board, I just have HDMI/VGA Dongle. Hopefully I am still okay with no modifications? I saw an earlier post that mentioned something about having to modify the dongle?

That was said in the first post. You need to modify the HDMI to VGA adapter otherwise you don't have sync with component.

Ok, so a mod is needed. I may skip out on this for now, as I will need to buy another HDMI/VGA dongle, as I use my current one with a PVM.

I would purchase an IO board, but it seems like that current design is not exactly the final design for it, due to some of the core development that is going on with the likes of ElectronAsh and others. Even Sorg himself has made a newer revision of the IO without the VGA output. Guess I can be patient and see how things evolve of the next year.
