Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
Finally got my MiSTer settled into what will probably be it's permanent home. Made a custom MVS-inspired control panel for my Mayflash F500. Tried to hit a nice middle ground between MVS homage and matching my MiSTer case. Definitely needs a black bat top though. MiSTer case is self-printed from a remix of the MiSTer Addons case. The PVM-20M2MDU has both overscan and underscan mode buttons, so I can have it set up with typical overscan for most cores, an underscan mode to accomodate PCs and things like NeoGeo that are typically cut off, and a overscan mode to blow up things like the Sega Master System a bit and fill out the screen.

This is beautiful! build log available? Do you have a link for the JST connectors you used for the three buttons up front? How do you turn it on/off? Can you wire that in also? I only see three momentary buttons.

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
i dont have a build log sorry.....
i use a remote control power socket to switch the de10 nano on and off, so no need for a physical switch.
the jst connectors you can purchase from quite a few places, but i got mine from an old stock pile of cables ive aquired over the years from scrapping tvs etc at work... they are JST XH2.54

just wondering why did you put the MiSTer USB board in there as you could have used any generic OTG adapter with a smaller footprint?terminator2k2 wrote:i dont have a build log sorry.....

Looks like a micro USB cable coming from the MiSTer goes under the USB board, so that's probably soldered to the through holes for the bracket header.mutmuthux wrote:more interesting is where is that usb hub getting power from ?

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
i used the usb hub as i had plenty of room inside the case, no point in not using it when i already had it.....
the power for the usb hub is taken from the dc input on the bottom on the de10, you can see the cable exit underneath the ethernet socket of the de10
the micro usb is also soldered underneath the hub just like the usb cables from the sockets mounted on the front and back
