Why are you acting like a jerk? This thread didn't say only custom hardware.
Also, you show your ignorance by calling LL S***.
Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
If everyone started showing off the stock devices then it would be pointless isn't it? LL S**** is as pointless as your mister hardware setup photo.

Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
There were other posters with even more basic setups than myself and you didn't say anything about those photos. I don't see why you have such a problem. Anyways, my setup is kinda unique since I have both LLAPI and SNAC options. You can dismiss those add ons as pointless, but they aren't. SNAC is required if you want to use some original NES accessories for example. There is no reason for your negative attiude over my innocent post just trying to show my setup, Go take your attiude somewhere else or you'll be reported. It is uncalled for to call someone's setup s****.crocky wrote:If everyone started showing off the stock devices then it would be pointless isn't it? I guarantee you have no experience with either LLAPI or SNAC, so please keep your opinions to yourself about those add-ons until you've actually used them. They have their advantages.

Perfect for cps core when/if it comes
I would actually like a 4 button stick for neo geo as i tend to drift to the bottom row when i want kick on this setup.
I have some old ones i could mod.

Cool setup!
Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
I find all setups here interesting, even the "stock" ones.
Do those Arcade sticks have Sanwa, Seimitsu, or knock-off buttons and sticks inside? I now like Seimitsu and IL most. Seimitsu buttons have more oomph compared to wimpy Sanwa. IL is much better than HAPP.
I modded some arcade sticks myself a while ago: https://gamingprojects.wordpress.com/2014/03/
I tend to put PS1 PCBs inside, because they are very versatile - adapters exist for every system, and buttons are standardized, unlike USB.
I currently have four modded arcade sticks and numerous other controllers:

Please don't judge the forum based on the first reply you got, I'd like to think this forum is better than that kind of remark.

None of the images are visible, it seems like one is not allowed to view them - I get a "forbidden sign" if I try to open any of them separately.the80scomputers wrote:My own minimalist design.

They're so good they are X rated and therefore forbidden.
Re: Show us your MiSTer hardware setup
Yes, it seems so. Don't show your hardware setup without case - would be naked hardware thensawf01 wrote:They're so good they are X rated and therefore forbidden.
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.
