This is the MiSTer case eBay seller dirkthedaring71 printed for me. I got to choose the transparent orange sparkle filament, which he then ordered, as the blue one had run out. It lights up really nicely in the evening. I'll take a photo of that as well.

Got it with the whole set of IO board 6.1, USB hub 1.2, 128MB RAM module 2.4, clock module 1.2, splitter cable, switch cable, heat sink and fan. All are great quality.

I recently finished my MiSTer setup, and am extremely happy with the results!
  • DE-10 Nano
    128MB SDRAM
    IO board
    USB Hub 2.1
Low profile USB bridge (the one that shipped with the USB board was insanely long!)
Bluetooth/WiFi - Free from my old Raspberry Pi parts drawer
Controllers of choice - 8bitdo M30, official Switch NES/SNES controllers.
Keyboard - Logitech K830 wireless keyboard with trackpad
    Case - 3d printed myself
    * Main case design - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3647626
    * Remixed bottom shell and covers for integrated USB hub - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4059606
I printed this with Prusament Pearl Mousse for the main body, Prusament Galaxy Black for the panels/feet/OSD button, Prusament mystic brown for reset button, and Prusament Mystic Hreen for user button. The light pipes are actually the silicone feet that come with the DE-10 Nano. They diffuse light excellently and just so happen to fit right in the holes with a little persuasion. Additionally, I placed some thin foam between the case buttons and the IO board so that the buttons weren't loose and don't rattle.

The original case design called for you to place the USB board onto the bottom of the case, thread standoffs into the printed part to secure the USB board to the case, attach the other boards with standoffs/screws, and finally sort of bend and brute force the covers into place around the connectors. Instead I went with spacers between the DE-10 and USB board, and threaded M3 screws in from the bottom. This allows the boards to be pre-assembled and slide in at the same time as the covers, then the screws bring it all in very snug. I then designed and printed little feet so that the screws wouldn't scratch any surfaces they sit on.

Hello all, I was planning on posting pics of my set up, but I've run into a problem. I plan to build a large case, around 250x300mm, with the DE-10 mounted in the middle and extension cables for HDMI, DC, SD card and ethernet running to mounted sockets at the edges of the case.

The HDMI extension cable I bought doesn't work with the DE-10, although it works with the same regular HDMI cable and monitor when connected to my PC. When I try it with the DE-10, the monitor puts up a "No input detected" message. This is my extension:

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0 ... em_1p_0_ti

I thought it might be a power supply issue, so I bought a 5V 6A PSU - still get the "No input detected" message.

Can anyone assist with this? I'm totally stumped, as the extension works with my PC so it can't be the extension itself. I'm now thinking my DE-10 has a voltage drop to the HDMI socket?

Here is my hardware. It's on a multi point articulating camera stand, meant for a tripod, but it balances really well without one. I designed a very simple Mister > VESA monitor mount to attach it on the back of the 10.1 inch monitor.

The main board was given to me as a gift. I populated the I/O board. (Just the buttons, LEDs, and fan header) And I also populated the 128MB Ram board!

How did you mount the OTG hub? Do you have any templates or files for the bottom plate?

I just used some 3M double sided mounting tape to the printed plate to mount the hub.
https://www.target.com/p/3m-extreme-mou ... lsrc=aw.ds

I took a look around for the file, and couldn't find it anywhere. I think i printed from an SD card that has since been wiped (i've set up my octoprint since then)

The cad files must be somewhere on one of my pcs at work or home, but i havent located them yet. I'll drop a link if I find it, or the time to remake it

And I decided I could just make it again after work. Feel free to use, share, or modify this as long as my original credit is given.

Here is a 75mm VESA mount version
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eQkCEc ... sp=sharing

and 100mm VESA mount version
https://drive.google.com/file/d/18O8KvT ... sp=sharing

Mine is 75mm, but 100mm is more common i think.

I finally got around to print NegSol's case with a bigger vent and buttons for the IO board. Here is my setup in its Mini configuration... I also plug it to my TV otherwise.

They are stickers from the ZX-Uno project.
You can download the file here and have it printed:

Here's mine. I love this thing. It's my favorite "tinker" device out of everything I have ever had.

Wow, that is a cool setup, that must play really well. I need to find my arcade controller so I can try use it with the MiSTer. I have the same housing for the MiSTer as you have.

I like your setup but it seems a bit dangerous to have a bare Arcade CRT without any housing. If it discharges on you or any guest by accident it could be fatal. I would recommend making some sort of wood housing box.

Lol, That's my test bench and technically that isn't an arcade monitor it's a Mitsubishi Multisync RGB monitor (15hz and 31hz) de-cased and installed in an arcade mount. There are 14 arcade machines on the other side of the wall that I restored. I know what I am doing. But I agree, stay away from open CRT or arcade monitors.

Nice! I see those cabinets are quite affordable. But where are the loudspeakers? I thought real cabinets had speakers above the screen with the sound coming down on the player? This cabinet seems to have no grilles or room on the top for speakers. As here for example in a real SF2 cab I found someone refurbishing on YouTube:
