Hi,
I am was wondering if anyone purchasing the latest batch of CosmosEx has trouble doing a bank transfer using the account info they were sent. I am having trouble with the account info sent to me by cosmosex @ atari.sk that stated the SWIFT ID as "FIOZSKBAXXX".
This does not seem to be recognized by my bank. However, if I leave off the "XXX" at the end, my bank said it looks valid but can't guarantee it. Is this the case? Just leave off the "XXX"? I already sent an e-mail to cosmosex @ atari.sk but they have not replied yet and payment is due tomorrow.
Thanks!

Just type "swift id" into Google and it will come up with a few Swift validator.
This is what it says.
Your 4-digit bank code FIOZ is for Fio, Druzstevni Zalozna
Your 2-digit country code SK is for Slovakia
Your 2-digit location code BA was not found but may be correct.
Your 3-digit branch code XXX was not found but may be correct.

Re: Bank Transfer for latest CosmosEx batch
Swift has to accommodate every bank, small to large. The swift code has a fixed lenght, with fixed fields. Fields not used is filled out with Xs. Perfectly normal and I have seen it with many (smaller) banks.
Anyway, I had no problems with provided swift/iban numbers, and got the same swift as you. However, my bank refused to make a transfer without also the full adress of the recipient. But once I had that there was no problems at all.

Why din't you try googling 'FIOZSKBAXXX' instead... you would see it's a perfectly normal SWIFT ID, some of the results are directly from the bank website itself.

I have run into the address issues with my personal bank as well, and have been waiting just shy of 2 weeks on an email response also.
I tried 3 other banks (2 I have relationships with, and 1 I do not) and they would not do wire transfers for products. Bank security in the US has really tightened up.
