Ah yes, didn't spot that before. I will have to ask some advice on this, because if I change the format from 'forum' to 'category', things happen within the admin panel which I am not in control of.

I will do my best, if not ask around, to get this fixed without destroying the existing posts that I've just put into neat sub-forums!
This just to be like the other forums.
But you're right, in the case of fpga forum, there are messages in this forum that are not in a sub forum. One solution would be to move these messages in a new subforum. The right choice would be to dispatch them in one of the 3 subforums (mist, suska and others).

Cheers Lonny - I've updated the sub-forum's description.
Main site: www.mug-uk.co.uk - digging up bits from my past: Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (ripping guides). I host a C64 Radio Show for a mate, Max Hall via www.chipsidshow.co.uk

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in for Word 2007 upwards. A toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: mikestoolbox.co.uk

I've had to create a clone of the inital forum, but this time set it as a 'category', then move the sub-forums into here from the old FPGA area.

The trouble is with a 'category' type area, you don't seem to be able to have a 'wild west, post anything you like' area beneath the sub-forums. So I've had to create a new sub-forum called 'FPGA Chat' which is where your posts about general FPGA topics will have to go.

Apologies for the initial cock-up which left 'Forum' at the top of the previous FPGA section. All part of my learning curve as it's been a while since I had to do anything like this :)

Thanks. I think it's good this way.

Edit : it's almost good because the topics transfered in FPGA Chat are Stills visibles in the FPGA category :
