Power Drift

Post by Steven Seagal »

Power Drift is heavily protected, one of the protections is weak bits on disk B.
In Steem it's hit or miss.
Could someone test the original or the SCP copy on real hardware. Does it always pass, or do you sometimes need to press space bar more than once?

I have written the SCP dump from retrobackup back to disks and my real STE (4mb) does not seem to recognise disk B when I press space bar.

I note that the SCP dump from retrobackup FTP is only indexed and therefore 1 rev. Would be good to get a dump with more revolutions in it. :D

I have the original and it works with only 1 rev. I will check the image on the ftp site.

It was discussed here about copy protection problems - fuzzy data in track dump, what is not supported by Pasti (at least earlier versions).
For Marcer (and others) : Owners of double sided drives don't need third disk, because it's same as side B of second disk. Side B of first is for determining is drive single or double sided. In any case, if you have undamaged original there must be data on third floppy.
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.
