Another SuperFly question

Post by NiceGuyUK »

I play Superfly on both my desktop PC via Steem and my MacBook (also via Steem). I wanna keep my progress in sync between the two - do I need to copy just the SAV file, or do I need the .REP file too (which seems to have the same date modified as the SAV file) ?

Best damned game I've played in 25 years of farting around with computers!

Ermm... how do you run Steem on OS X? Or do you boot it in Windows?

....or Parallels works very well :-)

For native OSX ST emulation I use Nostalgia (old but still works) or Hatari. Between the two of them I've got most bases covered.
STE: Desktopper case, IDE interface, UltraSatan (8GB + 512Mb) + HXC floppy emulator. Plus some STE's/STFM's

I've not played superfly for a while, but doesn't it do replays of your run? Maybe the .rep is just that info.

Could be completely wrong... calling mrpink...

ok, mrpink can't remember his password/username so here goes:

The answer to his question:
The .REP files contain replay data that allows you to view your highscores
(just click on the top scores on the high score table to watch your best flights again).
So its a good idea to copy this as well as your SAV file to keep progress the same on both machines.

Cool to see people still enjoying superfly :)
