Wiki + hardware

Post by Zenichiro »

I've been thinking lately that there's a lot of very useful information buried in these forums that really deserves to be transferred to a more readily useful format as part of the Wiki, especially with regards to hardware. Certain things seem suitable for just copying across and Wikifying such as certain Simbo and Greenious sticky posts in the hardware forum. The STF stereo mod is just one example which would seem to slot in perfectly to the DIY Hardware and Mods section.

Also I think a good hierarchical listing of all hardware available for our beloved machines both commercial or self-made projects would be a good idea. EG all cartridges, scanners, etc. This could also be linked to scanned/pdf documentation either on the wiki or another site?

If noone objects I'll get started fairly soon, let me know your thoughts.

Yes, you have a good point there.

In the hardware forum we have now 15 sticky posts. Imho thats atleast 10 too many.

Should be condensed and/or moved to the wiki instead.
