There is a new electronica / berlin-school album fully sequenced with MIDI on ATARI 520 ST with 4Mb of RAM and SATAN disk:

CASIOpeia Part 1:

The main sound-source was CASIO CZ digital synthesizer with Phase Distortion Synthesis (PD sound-generator), released in 1986.
Digital special effect on "CASIOpeia 1D" made with CASIO SK-5 with Pulse Code Modulation (PCM sound-generator), released in 1987.
Electric guitar in "CASIOpeia 1D" by BOOKOVSKY.



CASIOpeia Part 2:

The main sound-source in parts: A, B, C was CASIO HT digital synthesizer with SD synthesis (Spectrum Dynamic sound-generator), released in 1987.
Solos on "CASIOpeia 2B" and minor additions on "CASIOpeia 2C" made with CASIO XW-P1 performance synthesizer with Hybrid Processing Sound Source (HPSS generator), relesed in 2012.
Drums on "CASIOpeia 2B" by Pinokio (Yamaha DTXPress IV drums with "EZdrummer 2" program).

The main sound-source in the D part was CASIO CT with Wavetable / PCM sound generator, released in 1989.
Solos on the D part have been made with CASIO CT-X with AiX sound-generator (Acoustic Intelligent Expression), released in 2018.

In general - following recording-studio effects have been used (massively):
- track-by-track recording
- filters
- phasers
- choruses
- flangers
- delays
- echoes
- reverbs
- noise-gates
- equalizers
- compressors
- limiters.

Sequenced with ATARI 520ST and Cubase 2.1.


Final mastering has been made by Marcin Bociński at legatomastering.pl

Covert-art design by Róża Tama & Paweł Skrzypczak.

Well, people used to think that Atari is completely dead. But this is NOT true.
PC is good for loads of things. But not for real-time communications with other devices.
Hence - Cubase with ST is till alive. :-P

It sounds great Yerzmyey, and I'm happy to see you're still composing music, I was missing this!
This is an amazing album, and it's even better to know how you've made it, with Atari :)

(it reminds me somehow of Jim Kirkwood, but it's the berlin school part)
