I noticed that in the file window, when entering a file mask the number of files selected is zero.

For instance open c:\ and type "mi' and it might highlight 4 files but in the info line it just says "0".

Damn, I missed to notice the selection-counter when testing.
It has nothing to do with the mask though:
Selecting more than one file counts as zero

Perfect Lodovico.

I have put your fix here : http://thing.lutece.net/telechargement/fix_thgtxt.zip

Just copy "thgtxt" folder in "thing/rsrc/" to replace previous one.

If you have other like this let us know

I will update main archive soon

That fixes the problem.

A question, is it intentional that Quit is greyed out ?

I suppose yes (need verify) as it appear only when Thing is the system desktop with XaAES, it not do that with NAES or MyAES. launch from desktop XaAES Thing Quit is not disabled. A bit strange something to look but suppose intentional. Will check by curiosity

With previous versions it wasn't greyed out even when started from xaaes.

I only noticed because I was comparing behaviour with my previous version.

Can I make a feature request ?

When copying files from one folder to another, if the filename exists in the target then a dialogue opens showing the timestamp and file size.

If they are all the same then could the SKIP button be made the default ?

If any of the properties are different, could they be highlighted ? Inverse video or bold perhaps ?

Don't expect something like this quickly if I do it one day, but I add this in request on sourceforge, to not forget.

I've been backing up a lot of files onto another HDD and noticed this. A negative file count.

It only seems to happen on one of the drives so I'm not sure if it's Thing, mint, hd driver or the disc.

Oh I have to check that, it is possible an overflow in that case, there was a lot in Thing, I need correct but possible there is still, typically if number is more than 32767, because most calculation was done on signed short.

I'm going to check that but don't expect an answer before week end, I'm out for some days

I am recovering from a disc crash and copying files from C: to I: which is a CF card on and IDE adapter.

Thing keeps reporting "Disk Full" even though there is plenty of space. Sometimes it will copy 1 file but fail when copying several.

Have a great Christmas.

Strange look failed during copy not before start copy so look not link to space disk calculation. I have to check that when will be back next weekend, never seen this message perhaps write on disk failed so Thing thing disk is full but could an issue of system itself, let me check in some days
