I think hosting should better be on the cloud, or at least on a good commercial server. It is not only about the bandwidth. It is also about reliability, 24/7 availability, support and automatic backups.

Mirrors can be done by individuals. And that is appreciated.

Hi Marcer, thank you for doing these, I know how much time it can take, especially when they are a bit dirty.

Obviously we used to send our files to Robs dropbox and he would then upload them to DrCoolzic Mega repo for us all.

So what I have done for the moment, so we don't loose out on new dumps, for anyone that wants to send flux dumps, I have my own Mega repo of 20gigs that I have never used, so I have created an area for anyone to upload there dumps, which your welcome to do. Hopefully Ijor will have access to the DrCoolZic Mega repo and I can give him access to my mega page to grab any new files.

Hi Denis, thank you for these ... I have saved them to my own mega page for the time being, where I also have the recent flux dumps that were supplied by Marcer.
Currently there is no facility for these flux dumps to be uploaded to the DrCoolZic Mega Repository for the community and yourself to process them, I have contacted Ijor and he didn't have access yet, but he does have access to my repo area. Hopefully something will eventually get sorted, by whoever wants the task and I will make sure any files that I have will get to them.

I do have a few more dumps sitting on my drive and found a few more boxes with games etc in, but as it's just gone very quiet, i sort of lost a bit of heart in it all.
Also have spent some time doing lots of maintenance recapping fault finding etc on 2 CPC464, 2 CPC 6128, BBC Micro, 4 ZX Spectrums, Acorn Archimedes, 2 Atari STE and 1 Amiga 500's, Amiga 1200 and Amiga 1500 all now working well again

Now that lots out the way, i will get back to doing some more disks and will be in touch with a link for them.

Just in case anyone has any Flux Dumps that they would like to share ... I posted this before as a stop gap while something more permanent is available you can upload them here ....

As some of you may already know, in the past few days Rob (Kodak80) has finally turned off his One Share drive which was where all the IPF files were hosted. So what I have done for the time being is use my Mega page to host the IPF's we have accumulated between us all.

Due to limited space that I have available, I have only uploaded files which have been processed to IPF's, Rob had moved duplicate versions of software that had been checked, where No IPF were processed.

Here's the link for the files, hope this will be of help and also hope that I'm not stepping on anyone's toes by doing this.

Your original of Platoon is knackered. Each disk has the ghost virus A on each boot track (0.0).

Dump is fine, but the protection would need a clean up and a redump (T79.0). It's the American HLS protection, but it shows as incorrectly dumped :/

The IPF generated doesn't pass it.

You need to buy a floppy cleaner marcer. Mould is doing bad to the games, disks, manual and boxes....

i have cleaning disks etc. but this disk was very challenging. had to dump many times and mix the good parts into one.

as its quite rare release. ill give it a try again

Thank you for looking at these, shame about the Platoon disks, it seems like it's a title that we don't have a good version of as of yet. If anyone has a version, that they could dump, that would be great.

I will have another go at my Road Runner (USA) disk later, hopefully will be ok.

I can offer my FTP aswell, 1 gb fiber, with static IP, but if is a cheap and reliable cloud service you need, someone must have a ms365 family plan subscription with a spare slot. (you get 5) Each get a 1 tb onedrive.
