That's what is was before. Another client was causing the issue. I've raised it with Dal to see if he can check up on where we are hosted.
Main site: www.mug-uk.co.uk - digging up bits from my past: Atari ST, ZX Spectrum, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (ripping guides). I host a C64 Radio Show for a mate, Max Hall via www.chipsidshow.co.uk

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in for Word 2007 upwards. A toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: mikestoolbox.co.uk

Claudebot? I've had to take steps to block it from a number of sites I look after.

Dal's report:

"I’ve had a poke around - nothing too weird going on. I did have a bit of a purge of old logs and got rid of the wiki now that’s moved. Gave it a bounce as well.

There's also 11Gb of Files which may need looking into, but that's a separate project."

It's back to being slow again this morning, generally taking between 5 and 10 seconds to open pages :(

Generally speaking, I'm seeing 10-20 second pauses between screens, here in the US. :(

Since a few days, i experience slowness again. Every click takes about 15sec to respond. Sometimes i even get "server does not respond". Can anything be done to solve this?

Same here. From 5 to 15 seconds until the page starts rendering. I thought it was my DNS but no, it is not.

If the site is still hosted on Fast Hosts, I notice they do show that servers are "under maintenance"? Perhaps related?

Me too. I also get logged off here quite frequently. When I try to log back in, much of the time the site says my login information can’t be submitted. It’s frustrating, but I know that the admin has a life and this site is just a hobby.

Hopefully, it’ll be resolved soon.

I can see the slowness. I've asked Dal and he said he was going to look at the server. Not something I can do to help push it along.

Thanks Mike. The site seems very responsive this morning, so hopefully something was pinpointed and fixed!

Same over here. Most of time there's a delay of 10-20 seconds for every page request. Sadly this makes the forum unusable for me. I'll check back in a couple of weeks to see if things have been improved.
