Sound on the 400 Mini

Post by kermit88 »

Hi -

I just got the 400 Mini (so excited!).

Works great so far, hooked up via HDMI. The problem is no sound. What's the correct setup for this? I don't have speakers in my monitor....

There are cheap HDMI audio splitters on Aliexpress that should do the job.

Some monitors with HDMI input have analog audio output (e.g. a 3.5mm jack for headphones / speakers).

If you buy an audio extractor with passthrough, to future proof it, look at ones which say : HDMI 2.1, 4K @ 120Hz.
