Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
Good luck!
PS Oh, this was asked over at Atari Age, so for those who are unfamiliar, the SuperVidel does
require the CTxx series accelerator board (and a Falcon 030).

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
Going on memory only here but I'm pretty sure it cost me around $250.00 to $300.00
to get here to the US.
Hey Wong. There was no network adapter that came with mine. I think that was
later releases maybe? I do have the etherNat, but that was a separate purchase.
Maybe you're thinking about the Svethlana, although I think it was separate as
well, but not sure...

Yes, I know it is sold separately.
I wondering if you forgot to sell off your spare sv-ethernet-that-is-so-darn-difficult-to-pronounce-thnigy.
So you did not get the spare.

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
Yeah, I have a NetUSBee, so wouldn't need the Svethlana. I generally just pronounce it without the h, so "Svetlana" like Castle's pretend Russian Mistress.

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
From what i read, the Svethlana is probably one of the fastest networking devices.
There was a thread somewhere with some benchmark.

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
Just letting everyone know. This item has sold now.
The final winning bid was $810.00.
Wish I'd bought a dozen back when they were released.

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
Gee... should have bought Dal's King of Falcons. Would have made a profit from it by just selling the SuperVidel and CT63e!

No kidding, right? I wonder how many were made vs how any CTxx's that could use it were made vs how many functional Falcons are around?

Nice price! Congrats! Kinda speaks to the fact that another official run would be a good idea

Last I heard, Willy was still busy sending out the CT60e, so I wonder how long or if he'll be able to do a run of the SuperVidel?

Re: Selling my spare SuperVidel...
There's an awful lot of interest in them and a lot of hungry Falcon owners who
would love to expand so I sincerely hope someone does a run, sooner or later.

Sucker born every minute... oh wait, I bought that. Damn! Might even be about to close the Falcon up (once I can model and 3d print something that'll hold the DVI to HDMI to 90 degree HDMI adapter in place...)DarkLord wrote: Mon Jul 17, 2017 11:04 pm Just letting everyone know. Found this thread looking for some info on how to get the initial boot screen to a higher resolution, swear I'd figured it out before... but damn, I bought this from you in 2017?? How the time flies...
