So it turns out that the Cumana_V23 and Cumana_V24 disk images on tenox are bit for bit identical.
And neither archive is pure v23 or pure v24, they are a frankensteined mix of both versions.

Maybe pure greaseweazle dumps for both will show up someday...

So I can’t say for sure but I know that the SMS2 OS (Sinclair QL Qdos successor) required a cartridge and I know that the people who maintain the SideCarT project have a “Cumana OS-9” ROM that can be flashed to the SideCarT. No idea where that ROM dump came from or if anyone got it work, or what the hardware/RAM requirements are.
