Syncing Amiga Octamed to MIDI out of ATARI

Probably not the best place to ask but I don’t want to have to sign up to an Amiga forum.

Does anyone know if Octamed on the Amiga can be synced to the output MIDI play/stop and BPM of an Atari? I would have assumed it could but I read somewhere that Octamed doesn’t play well with others.

As long as it supports external MIDI sync, Octamed should be able to follow another sequencer.
