Much to my surprise, domain atari-users.com was available for the regular price of two beers a year. So I purchased it before some scalper does, as happened to atari-users.net. Now with the active Atari community down to a few dozen, I wonder if anyone has some use for it. If you do, let me know. I'll give you the token for free.
For the time being I've pointed it to my Raspberry Pi home server.
Domain atari-users.com available - any use for the community?

It could e.g. serve the JavaScript Atari ST emulator (EstyJS)...robv wrote: Mon Nov 22, 2021 9:39 am For the time being I've pointed it to my Raspberry Pi home server.

I just let atari-users.org expire. I haven't had time to setup a server to upload the old Atari-users.net site.
I would love to get my old Atari-Users.net domain back.. They are holding it hostage for $$$ (my old registrar wants $688)

Ah, yes, tried that one time. Nice but no sound IIRC. I believe there's another Javascript emulator that does sound?Eero Tamminen wrote: Mon Nov 22, 2021 10:26 pm It could e.g. serve the JavaScript Atari ST emulator (EstyJS)...![]()

We just have to wait for the guy to give up when he finds out there's no money to be made with Atari anymore.
