VGA -> HDMI adapter

Post by DominoTree »

I picked up a Kanex VGARLHD adapter (http://www.kanexpro.com/item/?id=VGARLHD) at the store to try and get my new MIST to work with my LCDs but I'm getting no video output. I know the MIST works and has properly booted into TOS.

The displays I've tried so far are Dell U2415b and LG 27UD68-P. I'd really like to get the LGs to work so I can keep my MIST at my desk.

Can anyone help point me in the direction of a good adapter/converter to try? Or is the problem more likely my displays?

Thanks!

There is no universal "adapter" exists. You need a scaler. And even scalers are far from perfect. So, for MiST you need to find a monitor supporting all these non-standard videos.
