Ah right - well I wasnt in the right place it seems, wrong FTP server, had a dredge through the forums and found a link into marcers one, and there she was.
Got the demo, but my Falc is on the other side of the planet at the moment - has anyone tried it yet? does it work?
Please be advised that access to Atari Forum this coming Friday will be sporadic whilst the backend operating system and dependency upgrades are carried out.

Re: Tina Demo for the Falcy?
Sure, its on Tony Barkers' "Moving Pixels" CD. Its a collection of Atari software that he did. Its Tina Turner singing "Simply The Best" with video. There is also software for the STe on the CD.Womble wrote:Anyone know where I can track down the tina demo for the falcon, its apparently pretty meaty at 70Mb.
You should be able to get it from Atari dealers for a good price. I believe I paid $14.95 for my copy.
Tony was from Australia and did the Tina demo as part of a commercial effort to show what the Falcon could do, for Atari Australia.
Its an awesome demo. I think it does require the Falcon to have at least 14 megs, does VGA or RGB, will play quarter screen, full screen, and even do a split screen mode thingy.
Every Falcon owner should have it/see it.

Aergh - finally get back to NZ where the falcon hides out and I find that my download of the demo is borked. Tos Error #35 on every .prg.
Now I cant find the file on marcers ftp. I am probably looking in the wrong place - can anyone let me have a link - have gone through a load of links scattered throughout the forum and a lot are broken, plus I dont actually know if the file is still there anyway.
Heeeeeelp

I see what is going on. The NRL used Simply the best as a theme of sorts way back in the day. Moving pixels sampled it. Really cool bit of Rugby League history too.
