Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help? I used to have an on Atari ST Adventure game called "Legend of the Sword"...I spent hours playing this game as a spotty 14 year old!. Imagine my dilema when I stumbled across Atari ST emulators for the PC when not even looking for them!.....how cool. Suddenly I've been transported back 23 years! I've downloaded Steem and Legend of the sword and I'm ready to play ( trouble is I've a wife and two small kids now hmmm.......its gonna be tricky......I'm sure a few of you will sympathise!)
The problem is that this game makes reference to the manual that came with the game. Within the Legend of the Sword Manual was a story called "Tales of Moments Lost" and the game wants to know what word on what line on what page, at various pints in the game. Amazingly I managed to download the LOS manual in a text document format....but there are no page numbers on it! Can anyone make any suggestions?
I've spent a significant amount of time searching for a manual download wth page numbers but no joy.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Legend of the Sword Manual
Try and download the Automation version of Legend of the Sword. It's probably cracked and had the manual asking stuff taken out.
It's on Automation 260 and you can download it here: http://steem.atari.st/automation.htm

Re: Legend of the Sword Manual
Thanks for your help everyone. The cracked version above allows me to load and save games without referencing the manual. Thanks also for the hints, gonna try and do it the hard way ( 1 hour a day before everyone else in the house wakes up !) Thanks again for your time and help. Long live the ST!

Bloke I sit opposite at work wrote this one. He's currently developing a web-based sequel for it.

That is amazing, so the game plot will carry to live on, after all those years.
I wish I could find the game manual on the net, could he he possibly help?
Many thanks

Gee, that was some years ago that I posted - he's long since moved on. I'll see if I can find a contact email for him...
