We are currently looking for ST ethusiasts to join the Guardians of the PaST project. The Guardians project aims to build a detailed database of all software released on the Atari ST to preserve and catalogue its legacy. To achieve this goal will obviously take a lot of time and effort, so we really need people who wish to help to come forward and join this important project. You can get more information on the project here: http://www.guardiansofthepast.co.uk/?about.php
Ideally you should have some knowledge of ST software, be it games or application software if you want to add new entries on the website. We also need researchers who can hunt down obscure and interesting information on software, or even to prove or disprove a software release on the ST. Another needed area is scanning, if you have a good collection of ST software or magazines and wish to contribute then we will be more than happy to add you to the roster.
If you want to help us preserve and catalogue the Atari ST then please get in touch, after all the ST gave us all endless hours of fun so doesn't it deserve something in return. You can contact me by emailing: paulraythompson@yahoo.co.uk or by simply using the forums PM system.

Re: Guardians of the PaST recruiment
Are there any ftp sites where we can upload?
I think people would like to help on and off, but don't necessarily want to be committed.
I'd certainly scan various bits as and when, but what stops me doing it is that they have to go somewhere.

If I don't answer or appear to have forgotton then email again, I'm scatty!

Re: Guardians of the PaST recruiment
I'm slowly scanning everything atari related that I own and sticking it online, but I only do this when my other hobbies (building cars
) don't get in the way, so I would like to help, but don't want to waste peoples time by being a 'part timer'
