Just thinking out loud...Given DVI is not as common these days and has similar pin out to HDMI is it possible to have a micro or mini HDMI port instead above the printer port?
Maybe too much extra logic / PCB is needed but thought I'd mention it.

It is not difficult at all and I am considering more outer board versions. But the first one out will be DVI anyway, since DVI-VGA and DVI-HDMI convertor cables are widely available and dirt cheap too.

They will fit in the case without sheet metal shield installed.

Hi mpattonm, this is a great new ! Here in my club in Switzerland we will buy 5 Supervidel for sure. We are all equiped with CT60e, I assume it's compatible? Do you already have a planned date for the availability? I know that the situation now with the chip disponibility is problematic. Will you considere some pre-inscription or some waiting list?

Hi, at the moment I can only estimate availability for end of Q1/2022. Right now, components for verification sample are on the way. But yes, as you say, chip availability is already an issue, Xilinx supply is limited, my current supplier has zero stock. Anyway, I will keep you posted guys!

I spent some of the weekend looking more closely into these Nortel 68060E cards ...I approached a few resellers and one responded.
He had one Nortel NT5D03PB 68060E card that was untested but complete. He sent me a photo of it and you can see the '060 under a heat sink (but not clear enough to see the full CPU details, just it was there).
I said I just wanted it to try and fix an old computer that had some similar chips, so I'm not interested in paying Nortel prices. The upshot was I paid 80 USD including shipping.

The big question is what 68060 cpu is there....EC, LC or RC!

Will report what I find when I get it. With Brexit it could be a few months!

My parcel arrived! The 68060 I believe is an LC model but had a heat sink on. Once i get it off I'll get some photos of the Nortel board and post.

A small update: I am finishing FA testing as we speak, only pending test is memory subsystem now. And if everything is OK, CT63 r2022 should be available for purchase starting next week or week after.

SV sample is being built, but its not a priority ATM as main FPGA and its designated flash memory chips are completely off the shelves. An ETA for those key components is 08/22 only.
