Re: Atari haul from university
Hi @Bengy. Any chance for an update on your haul? It's always nice to see people's setups.
Re: Atari haul from university
Would be my pleasure. Recently moved so still getting everything setup.
I hit a wall with the ST Books. Couldn't find any easy solution to finding a power supply for them

Re: Atari haul from university
Thanks for the offer! I just couldn't find any place I could buy an off-the-shelf AC Adapter that fit. I had a few leads to build one or modify myself but the info was conflictingGaiyan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 4:40 pmOh no. What's the problem with finding a PSU? Anything I can help with?
Josh.

Re: Atari haul from university
Did you want the whole shebang, 16v + 12v for charging or would you settle for the 16V. If 16V is sufficient then a laptop charger such as IBM Thinkpad's should be fine with the right plug:

They are switching so they work with any AC voltage, 4.5A is plenty for an ST Book. In fact I used one on my STacy before going the PicoPSU route. What's the conflicting info you refer to?
Re: Atari haul from university
I believe it was the plug fitting into the ST Book, I will pull up my notes. The conflict, as far as I remember, was how to create a custom plug for an adapter like the one you reference...Gaiyan wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 5:10 pmDid you want the whole shebang, 16v + 12v for charging or would you settle for the 16V.
