CyberPaint SEQ to Animated GIF

I just made a Windows tool to convert a CyberPaint Sequence file (SEQ) to a common Animated GIF File.
It's still in beta but It worked with almost all animation file I've tested.
You just have to drag and drop the SEQ file on the program and it should create the corresponding GIF file.

Great work Orion_ !
I tested your tool with SEQ samples I found here.
It was able to convert all files successfully except CIRCLES.SEQ.

Did you release an updated version in the meantime?

The SEQ color palette features a list of values of the colors red, green and blue.
The intensity of each color ranges from 0 to 7, where 7 is the maximal brightness a color can have.

Two bytes are required to describe a single color entry, for example:
07 34 (hex) denotes a color with the values 7 red, 3 green and 4 blue.

I noticed that seq2gif.exe is converting SEQ color values like this: (value x 32) + (value x 2).
In the above example the color becomes EE 66 88 (hex).

Since GIF color values ranging from 0 to 255 or 00 to FF (hex), the converted images don't take full advantage of the GIF color space. The converted images are too dark and what was once white on the Atari is now a light gray EE EE EE (hex) in the GIF version.

My proposal is to convert Atari colors like this: round(value x 255 / 7).
With this method the color becomes FF 6D 92 (hex) and the brightest color would be FF FF FF (hex).

Maybe you can consider this in your next update.
