I did a fix so if the dtend is missing then end date is set to the start date but the events still aren't read.

It's something to do with the size of the file or number of events. By deleting everything before and after 2022 the events are shown.

Actually it was the line endings on the file.

Once it was save with cr/lf endings Gemical opened all 299 events.

remembered in my Uni days.... for Pascal use readln to read entire line of text. That should work for both /cr/lf, /cr or /lf.

Yes, v0.3 is on GitHub.

It uses readln but it doesn't like LF eoln.

I had no luck with aranym on Ubuntu either but I'm not too bothered as long as it runs on hardware. My goals are functionally and improving the code structure at the moment.

Looks very promising! I now can run v0.3 under MagicPC, previous versions would hang. The lat/lon data from the config file is written repeatedly to the desktop, scrolling up the screen. Hope it can be fixed. A working ICS calender would be great.
