I don't understand anything at this game Yellow_Colorz_PDT_38
Sometimes i die without knowing why...
At times an enemy kills you, sometimes not ?!
It seems confusing at this time for me.
Good realization however !

When a coloured ball get it on your line, there are very small pixel that kreep towards you, maybe that's the problem. After a while you get used to it.

That's 200000 more than my best score. Yet again, last place for me :)

Will post up some (embarrassing) screenshots when I get back from RCM tomorrow evening.

Xerus, think of this game like playing a 2d Tempest 2000 and you'll get what's happening.

10095 - not my type of game. Too hectic and too psychedlic for my taste!
ssb_frantick_10095.png
Additionally the highscore table seems not to work for me, I can't enter my name although the spots read 0 :(

Looks like there are severe differences in game versions. My first try was with the PD release from Serenade Menu 66.

I now tried v1.1 from Marcer's Game DVD and presto, highscore table worked a lot better. Plus no commercial break anymore :D

My score looks somewhat more like a highscore now: 78885

For the future: if we play PD/Shareware again, please Thorn state if you use the PD release or the full release for the compo because of the inherit differences. I personally think the limited/Shareware version should be the one we play because this can be played and procured by anyone. Full versions are normally not available and not every player has Marcer's Game DVD.

My one is from AL's database - I copied the files to my STEEM partition and hex-edited the main .PRG so that the soundtrack loads from the folder and not A:\ :)

Still doesn't mean I can play the damn game though ...

697'536 what a blast

I think that after level 50 the game restarts, but the waves are still different. The bonuses are the same.

No chance to close the gap but I could beat my own score at least.

Another slight improvement to 105135 today.

xerus: ChrisTOS let me tell you: you can use a jagpad to play the game.

Interesting, have to try that by myself. Once again a good reason to use the pad that is much better as all the other non atarians always wants to tell us
