Opinions on SiDi FPGA

Post by HarlockX »

Hi all, new to the forum here :)
I'm getting interested in the FPGA world and I would like to ask for your opinions on the SiDi fpga, I'm not familiar with it.
Is there any drawback? Is network connectivity available with it?
Anything else to take into consideration?

Cheers!

It's a clone of MiST, with a newer generation FPGA for a very good price. The drawback is that it's not binary-compatible with the original, however it's very easy to recompile the MiST cores for it. The manufacturer does it regularly. Also available with 64 MB SDRAM, which is good for Minimig-AGA and some new arcade cores.
