Re: What is your Favorite 2 or multiplayer Game On ST/e/F030
Seems to be a lot of love for MIDI Maze 1/2. Must be thing that might be the first that many people had a encounter with a actually fun playable local multiplayer game of that sort. Do remember rigging up all my Atari:s at the time when my gf and her pal came over so could test it,we had quite a fu...

Re: AT&T Unix Source code incl. C and Fortran Compiler for 68K
Done. After a little more investigation, it turned out that these tape marks appear at 5120 bytes distance, which still happens to be the default cpio block size. Nailed together a little program that skips 4 bytes at start and end of such blocks and voilà: modern cpio is able to extract the result...

Re: AT&T Unix Source code incl. C and Fortran Compiler for 68K
Interesting stuff, historically not the least. I am quessing the burst folder has the .tap file content. I peeked around in it and seems to be same file names, data and such inside in readable format with index headers and the likes in between. However does anyone know the format of the .tap file sin...

Better late than never I quess :).. But no dont have samba running even if thought about getting it running. On the otherhand since did quite a lot of testing with it for my own driver I noticed that depending on what FS the file is loaded to got different speeds. Gemdos drives being the faster ones...

Re: Devpac 3.10 not assembling
But when moved the mint install to a minix part due to Cubase testing it worked all of a sudden. Minix is more compatible / forgiving than ext2. IIRC it is case insensitive, doesn't require access rights etc. Oh,yes, minix was mainly used for getting Gcc and things like that to work I think so case ...

Re: Devpac 3.10 not assembling
Ehhhh... no! Without a valid PATH to GEN.TTP it won't find this one. Did a reinstall. No change. But your option #1 (Remove all options) did the trick. [Options|Options...] contains an Edit field named "Symbol significance". I assume (without checking the manual) that this is the same as ...

Re: Devpac 3.10 not assembling
Yes,thought about that tonight when saw the post that things looked a bit strange but could not remember how they looked exactly. The 000 and 030 bins looks like in the distro package I think,Devpac3 actually has a installer which copies the stuff needed for the destination and sets up the environme...

Re: New Game Demo: WORDUP!
Nice game, runs even on standard Falcon with 14megs.But just from lowrez ST by the looks of it and no sound I think.Only tested with nothing extra mem loaded. Would be nice with resolution switcher since 16col VGA starts but not in ST-low
..Anyone done those routs for GFA and maybe supply them?

Re: Don't trust hardware...
Dont know about the particular adapter (c't) ,but do know that the pp version floating around the net has no proper ATA-bus timings(IDE is really part of that spec) so on those version its no wonder that stuff dont always work as supposed to.Think the one I've seen simply use /AS from cpu to make bo...

Re: Timer A pre-div
Hmm,,interesting stuff, had to look up in the MFP User Manual to refresh a bit. I've used both A and B but in event count mode only. That is TAI and TBI generating an interupt. TAI of course for sample frame. But since talking about it,used TBI (connected to DE) for jagpad reading on a game of mine.No...

Re: Timer A pre-div
Well, since pretty much down to hardware (MFP) maybe start with the manual for it to get some more insight on the timer/s. https://docs.dev-docs.org/htm/search.php?find=_z A bit down there you find 'Motorola MC68HC901 Multi-Function Peripheral [1995]' that is the nicer looking one. Cant direct link s...

Re: Issues finding an IDE bus with HDDriver.. and there is no IDE
Also I am testing right now on a Mega ST with a ICD ADSPEED in it.. does it see the ADSPEED as a IDE drive? because it is finding an IDE bus and I dont have one. IDE buses are really just mapped IO at certain locations. And I have slight memory of some devices using the adress range that later was ...

Re: Falcon Just Went on the Fritz! Help Plesae
Well, first before ruining a motherboard ,(there have been a couple of those 'recaps'), check all upgrades and the likes that they are functioning. In fact I would revert to testing with orginal memory with bare machine and so on before assuming anything. And to test with another PSU for starters.

Re: What was the last version of Cubase Audio Falcon?
Ive seen version 2.06 upgrade (with just the prg and adatrec program files). However, what version does this actually 'upgrade'? Are there any other versions in the wild? (Preferably clean dongle versions, as I know about both the 2.06 cracks). TIA Had to look at my old disks,I got a second hand CA...

Re: Notator and 030's
Dont have Notator myself but by the looks of it a complete midi program thingy and will mostly have own interrupts and handling them.Which in turn means that the program has to handle the interrupts and those are different between the 000 and 030(stack frames and what not). That is if doing it low le...

Yeap the shielding is rather tight on some components,I have insulation tape on places on my falcon for way too easy to short otherwise. On the rams for example, own made adapter, so its a bit 'high up' on the pins.Have a STE with a own made IDE adapter on the empty blitter socket, same there.Very tig...

Devpac3 has autofolder version of monst called amon.prg which might be of interest?,tho you maybe want specifically to use monst2.

Re: where is my CPU on this STE?
This is an early one, with Blitter still extra chip. Later models it is integrated in the GST-MCU (it also includes GLUE and MMU) I love the later ones where the mobo still have the socket for blitter left in there but built in blitter. The easiest way to get full bus-access to the CPU bus on stand...

Re: Is it possible to format only one partition with ICD Pro?
