SynthWorks D-50 original software.

Postby Atarieterno » Sat Dec 08, 2018 9:27 pm

Hi guys;
Does anyone have the ORIGINAL diskette or diskettes of Steinberg's SynthWorks D-50 editor?
I have a dongle and I would like to complete this set, I am missing the original software.
Thank you and may the Muses accompany you.

Yes I do. I still have my original package with both disks, manual and dongle. Are you looking for the actual original disks or images of them? I can make images of mine.

I happen to be looking for the Synthworks DX/TX disks as I only have a dongle. Disk images would be fine.

Regards,
Carl

Hello Carl, thanks for answering.
From the Steinberg SynthWorks series I only have the editors for Korg Wavestation and Roland D10, D20, D110, D50 (only dongle) and MT32.
For Yamaha DX-7 I have the X-Alyzer from C-Lab.
Any of these original programs are at your disposal, I can copy the diskettes for you.
I have other programs for DX7 but they are not original: DX Droid, DX Heaven and DX to FB01.
Please, share the contents of those original D50 diskettes.
Greetings.

So here are MSA images of my two original disks, mono and color versions. I hope they work for you.

If you are running this on a Mega STE, remember to switch off the cache or it won't work. Also, if you have a graphics card it doesn't like higher resolutions. Only medium or high Atari resolutions work for me, at least.

Best regards,
Carl

Here is my Synthworks DX/TX software. It's the version which *officially* works without the dongle. See the included Readme.txt file from Steinberg for further details.

Thank you very much, dbsys, for your contribution.
I'm sorry to see that the number of downloads is always higher than the effort of writing a simple "Thank you".
