Pressimage games

I've recently been through an old catalog of Pressimage (commercial releases) / DOMPUB (public domain releases).




It seems many of these Pressimage commercial releases are not available anywhere, maybe even lost?

Some more games, are also listed at Atarimania or Atari Legend, with some also not available anywhere.

Hopefully, the best title (NSFW) of the Atari Legend list has been preserved.
(actually quite a challenge to play this one - and such a reward, lowest-fi scanned picture of some mama...)

There are also some unlisted monochrome PD games from the other catalog.


I think i played that Pacman clone with scrolling field.

There are sources for a MANIAC game here: https://github.com/ggnkua/Atari_ST_Sour ... oft/MANIAC , including a compiled MANIAC.PRG version. From a quick test, it looks like a Pacman clone...

That's the one, thanks man.

So it's actually not scrolling, but play fields diverge quite a lot from standard Pacman layouts.

Many of these games exsists on Gamedvd.. in PD section.. in the past I must have disjudged the place to put these titles.. not only pressimage titles there is even others.. They were so crap I thought they must been PD

Well Pressimage was a PD library at first.
I guess they just asked some authors for exclusive productions, and sold those at a higher price this way.

I remember going in their "physical shop" on Paris, which was a small place with shelves of grey disks.
Asking for some software (probably some tracker, or MODs files). And when i was back home, finding out the man gave me a disk of erotic pictures.
Intentional or not? Couldn't say. But i was really angry about having to get back there to get the proper disk, that i know.

[edit] Aya, the Atari Legend list seems to be "enriched" atm by some pretty wicked titles.
