with the 'recent' success of Atari Facebook groups I decided to create one myself with 3 specific reasons in mind. Just to be clear; there is no way I want to steer people away from this marvelous forum, however I hope my reasoning below is clearing that up.
1) Getting to know fellow Dutch Atarians and if there is any interest meetup in real life
2) Prevent bidding against each other on local (online) marketplaces without knowing it
3) If there is a language barrier one should be able to ask Atari related questions in their native language.
Reason #3 could be addressed here on atari-forum.com as well, although I think all content should stay written in English and if I look at the way I use / read this forum (scanning and reading all recent topics at the top of the start page), I would not like it personally to see a lot of non-English content
