It's amazing that since the games release in 1987 up till now some 27 years you'd have thought that someone somewhere would
have ripped all the graphics out of this game (Also considering how famous this game is). I've tried searching for everything I
can think of and I get screenshots or everything other than what I am looking for.
All I'm trying to do ATM. is to get a basic second stage set-up with the level mapped out and the boss at the end that can be
defeated so the stage can be completed. No baddies or music or whatever ATM.

during the ram/rom check at the beginning of the game.
I don't know what's wrong with my original copy of R-Type but I've now manage to get
level 2 to load and have ripped the tiles out of that version. Unfortunately they don't
look as good re-coloured with the current palette I'm using (I just used the remap pic
option in Degas). Still it gives me something to work with so I can map out stage 2
until I have some better gfx.
