i get great picture, but the ball just goes tru the paddle, and it don't score? it's like its hang up or something.

Hi, i have an old rally iv pong-consol, and i have problem with it, so i tought i may ask for help here.
i get great picture, but the ball just goes tru the paddle, and it don't score? it's like its hang up or something.
