*bump*

Cool T-shirts! I just mucked around with some scans of the Atari manual and came up with:
http://junosix.adsl24.co.uk/ST-T-shirt.png

There are a few places online that you can upload that image to if you want it printed onto a T-shirt!

EDIT - just uploaded it to Zazzle, from what I can tell they're pretty good quality.

Ah - Zazzle didn't like that, they emailed back to say they won't do copyrighted material (even though there are a couple of other non-official Atari things on their site). I've left the image up though just in case you want to print it off yourself.

Can anyone recommend a decent online T-shirt printing service that won't get nobbed-out over printing something like this?

http://www.Vistaprint.co.uk don't care what they print or http://www.tshirtstudio.com are very good, a bit pricey, but they do mugs etc..and are of excellent quality

hope this helps ;)

Greyfox™

p.s. nice scan you did there, but it's a bit ruff in places, if you know photoshop, then you should extract it the ST computer itself and create a black stroke around the extraction to remove all those ruff pixels or if you wish I could have a go?

I've used Vistaprint for... ehh... free business cards, which came with a typo :D Didn't know they did tees and mugs too. An Atari mug sounds right up my alley!

(BTW, enjoying the snow/ice? I was trying to show off today with a massive slide, and my final "launching off" step happened to slip, so I ended up falling on my kidney :P)

OUCH!!, sry to hear this man, hope your okay, enjoying the snow??, well not really, I hate having to drive out in it, rather stay inside doing some GFX work, pain in the arse actually :), for high quality mug printing, I would go with the tshirtstudio , don't know what vistaprint's mug printing is like, I have a few done from tshirtstudio and there are excellent quality and have not faded at all after 8mths

Cool, I'll try all those places and see what's the best deal. The wonky roughness is quite deliberately calculated because I was trying to stay true to the unpolished feel of the manual (if you look closely at a lot of the diagrams in the original manual, a lot of the lines are clearly done in pen!). It does look pretty cool when printed out - try it!

Feel free to muck about with it mind.

EDIT - matt (up there ^^) did one with a more hard-aligned text. That looks good if you want to quiz him for a copy of it.

Here's my revision of juno's design. I just moved the words left/right so they lines up with the visual "edge" of the machine.

Yeah, looks right, that. Think I was being a bit rustic for my own good with the spacing on the text.

Actually the green one is really good.
I would think also about leaving the TOS desktop only, with the same original colours, for instance with some window opened - with a famous game or an util.
Ah, just a thought anyway. ;)

Good idea, maybe just the Desktop Info window?

Well not alot of people will know this. But the branding of the Atari Logo, more people will know.
Just need to have a nice fuji logo background picture; may be on a Thing or Jinnee desktop.

I know this has nothing to do with the Atari St etc..but it's a classic from Atari Games arcade division and one of my most favorite arcade games, so got a tshirt done of it, comments welcomed :)
it also has an image on the back from the game..so if you see someone wearing this t-shirt, you'll know it's me :) and come over and say hello .

Really, really cool. I like how gritty you kept the picture. It really has that atari game feeling. [smilie=greencolorz4_pdt_12.gif] Is the image on the back the same or another scene/ version of the cover?

Hi Fella, thanks for your interest, but these were only concepts designs which could of possibly lead to been a reality, but with the cost of printing and all that goes with it, I abandoned the project :(, so there is no place they can be obtained I'm afraid.

Can I use any of your concepts for private use only? Should I consider royalties? Reasonable I hope. (I bet more people wonder).
I like your concepts and 3 or 4 of them would make it to my shirts one day as they really catch eye.
