Using real hard disks or CF with emulator

Postby Marakatti » Fri Mar 18, 2016 1:39 pm

Hi, is it possible on either STeem or Hatari to read for example ST-formatted CF card from real Atari? I think Amiga emulator UAE supports something like this, but didn't find an answer if it's possible on ST emulators...

If not, this would rock [smilie=greencolorz4_pdt_01.gif]

This was asked several times. With Hatari can do it, but only in Linux - Windows builds have some issues.
If you need it really - myself do it with images, then ask Steven Seagal in Steem SSE section.
Negative feedback has usually positive effect.

Thanks. My main problem is to transfer data between Falcon and Windows XP. Not really interested playing around with ZIP splitters and floppy disks and don't have other than USB-port on my laptop. Would have been simple with using an emulator.
Maybe i should buy PARCP-USB if it's still available?

PARCP-USB is a good solution. Easy to use and very reliable. It even has fancy features like scripting, running programs on the remote computer and do backups.
