Take a deep breath...

I'm temporarily taking the ftp offline.... I guess it will be down for 2 weeks or something while I'm on vacation. I'm moving all the stuff on the ftp to my computer as I will be changing ftp software + adding some new hardware before going online again.

Take care

Silver

That's Tragic Silver, :(
But luckily I have just about all the game menus from your FTP,
AND the Atari Compact Disk Database is BACK ONLINE AGAIN!:
http://atarigames.no-ip.info/atari/index.php?
Hopefully this will be more permanent than the last return,
anyway as I said, I have probably almost all of the Menus from Legend FTP, so if anyone is desperate for any and they are not on the Atari CD Database, drop me a PM and I will magic them up to the CD Database if I have them.

Have a nice hol Silver, going anywhere nice?

Not sure, but it may be back this week-end. Silver said he was in holyday two weeks ago, and he should be back this week-end.
Thanks in advance for the upload simonsunnyboy :D
Take care,
Brume.

i can understand how the people who work feel when they gotta do stuff with their PC's...

can be a bit of a struggle after getting in from work then having to sort out/configure/re-configure stuff... i really should scandisk and reinstall XP.. as well as do a list of all my menus/sort out my menus.. etc etc...

bodkinz (the hunter gatherer again)
someone post something, i'm bored :)

I only usually need to do a full System re-install about once a year, and only then if my system has gradually degraded to such a level as to impede gameplay, it is probably operating at about 80% now as far as I can guess, and as you say Bodkinz, it is not easy to find the patience to spend hours clicking "ok" and "next" and swapping CDs after a full day's work, and then realising you forgot to back up some all important "stuff"
Why can't they release Windows on a ROM cartridge? :?
Now that has to be my all time daftest suggestion :) , but if MS pick up on it, I thought of it first OK?

I get the same as you Manicx - though only found out by accident when I clicked on the wrong FTP site entry :?

I assume 'our' login is disabled until the FTP site is ready to be unleashed again

HAVE YOU GOT?? .................

Postby RetroGamerUK » Mon Oct 11, 2004 4:37 pm

Does anyone know where the Vectronix Menu disks are hiding? :)
I am looking for menus 502 and 503 to complete my Vectronix collection as the ones on LGD fileglider (502.lzh and 503.lzh) may not be correct, as, when decompressed, they are actually S712 and S713. Or is this correct?
I have E-Mythered Richard Davey twice, but had no reply.

BTW, I have been successful in connecting to the FTP via annnonnamouse (or however u spell it), glad it is back on, and glad to see more files there also, someone has been busy !

Will have a look now as I can't remember how far I got on the Blue and Green disks ....
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Well, I finally posted off the 13 forms Unisys sent me for the new job. All I can do now is wait for them to be received, for the various security and medical (eek!) checks and then they'll give me a start date down in Milton Keynes.

Then finally I can relocate and get everything unpacked. By then, I might be able to start back imaging the disks ...

13 forms!!! What the hell do they want to know!??! Did they ask for your inside leg measurements too?

Well if you gotta have the medical - make sure you top up on the steroids and viagra; you never know what they may ask a (old) man like yourself to do :P

Well someones gotta work there :P (Only kidding all Milton Keynes dwellers!)

The joys of single-dom with no ties .. if another job comes up in another area .. then off I go. Will be a bit more central UK wise, so can visit and or attend any decent Atari-related get togethers now.
