JUMPERS SETTINGS ADD YOUR URL FOR DRIVES AND ADDONS. SETUP'S

Postby keili » Thu Dec 22, 2005 12:10 pm

Yesterday, i've searched for the jumber settings of the 500MB harddisks (Fujitsu M2684SAM) and found a great site. They list the settings of many, many old harddisks and much more.

Power: sleep W Humidity % 8 80 | 5 90
standby 23.0 W Altitude km -0.305 3.048| -0.305 9.140
idle W Shock g 5 | 25
seek 55.0 W Rotation RPM 3600
read/write W Acoustic dBA
spin-up W ECC Bit

Oh holy sh*t. no wonder the powersupply in eth megafile was sorry.. The ST4096 wants 55Watts seeking and 23 W idle.. and 4 AMPS 12 V when spinning up. and i asked the megafile supply to do that on top of the ST225... I'm beginnning to think the AT supply might even be strained now.
