GFA-BASIC Toolkit - Volume 1 (HYP released)

Postby lp » Mon Jul 14, 2008 3:11 pm

I have ported an old GFA book to HYPertext. It's attached to this post. You will need an ST-Guide or equivalent HYPertext reader.

If you also want the disk that came with the book, it's here:
http://dev-docs.atariforge.org/files/gfa_tkv1.zip

Enjoy!

PS. I know the book is old and maybe some of the example code is not so great, but hey, it's free.

Nice one lp!
My main site: http://www.mug-uk.co.uk - slowly digging up the bits from my past (and re-working a few): Atari ST, Sega 8-bit (game hacks) and NDS (Music ripping guide).

I develop a free Word (for Windows) add-in that's available for Word 2007 upwards. It's a fix-it toolbox that will allow power Word users to fix document errors. You can find it at: http://www.mikestoolbox.co.uk

Could do with renaming the attachment so that both files aren't the same name, lp.

Off to find WinGuide so that I can read the book under Windows :)

I tweaked the download name as suggested. :)

If any typos or such feel free to get a hold of me. Will correct them ASAP. I plan to host the hyp on the dev doc site eventually. I finished up the porting this morning and wanted to get it released.

Both download links point to the same file, the disk files, no .hyp file.

Thanks for all the work you did to get this book released and converted to hyp. Takes me back 20 years ago when I logged on to Genie every night to
read the GFA roundtable.
