Maybe with GFA Assembler. Check the manual.

Assembler can be used a couple of different ways. Clearly you have not read the manual.
Seeing is believing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1R-WdzZ9tA

Same example compiles with the original GFA package.

can u send me a mpg of that file lonny ,
ineed to preserve it ,,,,you tube removes inactive accounts
don't want to loose such value resources..........
ive read all the manuals ! lol
pascal u need xdef xref
wondering if theres a way to use arrays from gfa in a asm routine
I try passing add on stack and saving adr in a ds.l
seems untrusty

No need to save megabytes of video data. Freeze the video and snap an jpeg of the asm file. ;)
The $X option requires xdef. Separate asm modules can access common code using xref. All variable types can be passed to asm routines. Understanding how they are passed on the stack is the key.

and I wouldn't have been able to this ..(I did use and install a routine years go lonny )..not without your help ,,,,,

that's cool how we can replace internal commands like that .....

but here is my current situation
-> gfa to call a asm segment
I use xbtimer in the asm segment to install a exception handler
area of cloudiness occurs with passing variable into the asm segment,,storing them and accessing them
they are used in the segment of code which xbtime installs as a handler
so where is the storage area for these variables
installing the handler comes back to the gfa program
do they just get wrirren into ds.l dc.l statements ?
ill include some code to help illustrate .....or should I start a new thread ,,, I kinda thought I might have to declare external reference to these variable since they are used outside of gfa .....

Trying to install an interrupt from BASIC isn't something I'd do myself. Not my area of expertise. Yeah, that's mutating the topic. Just kick one of your old interrupt threads.
