Looking for... a teacher !

Postby ast » Sat Aug 20, 2016 8:26 am

Yo men,

As you probably know, i'm a newbie on Atari.

Long time ago, my old friend, Overflow (Logon System) gives me his Atari 1040 STE with screen.

Now, I'd like to make things (Like Cream... hehe) on my Atari, so I need someone which could help me, and learn me this incredible machine.

If you're interested, contact me !!! :megaphone:

Thanks.

All informations to code is inside our Wiki : http://www.atari-wiki.com/index.php/Programming, you have a lot of sources here !

You can learn something with our framework : https://github.com/NoExtra-Team/framework used for demo on Atari ST.

And if you want to see more sources code, go to : http://freddo.chez.com/Sources/Sources.html.

To be your teacher ? Nice idea but I need more time and you should first go to an Atari CP to know whole people behind the Demoscene.

First, follow all informations provided in this Topic ;)

Hi,

This is 'Hello' from another Assembly beginner here.
I have made this floppy image to learn assembly on Atari ST.

alw_v1.st

Code: Select all

image 824K contains:
aln.prg*     command.tos*  madmac/  me.ttp*   st-guide.prg*
alw_v1/      desktop.inf*  me.bat*  sample1.s*
alw_v1.hyp*  mac.bat*      me.hlp*  sample2.s*
748K used

contents:
------------
alw_v1.hyp - Clayton Walnum's Assembly Workshop I. in HYP (Atari Hypertext)
alw_v1/ - Workshop source codes
st-guide.prg - HYP browser
me.bat - starts microEMACS editor, you can code samples
mac.bat - MadMAC to assemble code samples
aln - link samples to executable .PRG
me.hlp - list of microEMACS commands
command.tos - starts GEMDOS command interpreter (resemble MS-DOS)

sample.{1,2} already coded from the book

examples:
--------------
me samples1.s - would just edit sample1

ctrl-z - save & exit
ctrl-x,ctrl-c - cancel & exit
ctrl-v - page down
esc-v - page up

mac sample1 - assemble sample1

aln sample1 - link sample1 to .PRG

sample1 - run sample1

Tomas
