Looking for pieces of asm source code suitable for beginner

Perihelion's tutorials are very good but nobody continued his work.
I'd like to learn other topics but I don't know where to start.
If you have small snippets of code (commented very well) I suggest to post them for beginner

I would recommend visiting #atariscne on ircnet (http://www.irchelp.org/irchelp/networks ... rcnet.html).

Lots of chaps there generally willing to give pointers and sharing information with regards to ASM programming for the atari.

I found a floppy which is "introducing Atari ST Machine code" by zzSoft, don't think if thats ever been put online anywhere ?

i think that the best way learn a new program language, is starting making a little app, game, ect.
and when you face some problems, post you problem here, and we can try to help you.

There's the Bullfrog tutorials that appeared in ST Format which might be worth a look…

Those Bullfrog tutorials were really GREAT showing the basics of games programming in asm.

They created a game called "Attack of the Mutant Golf Holes".

The thing with asm is that it's totally up to your imagination as to what your wanting to write and
as said above if you have a problem post it here and somebody will try and help you out.

It seems to cover the basics of ASM programming. Not as much as readily available code snippets, but perhaps a good start for those completely new to programming and willing to get into ST ASM.
