STOT #3/20 Lost World

Postby christos » Fri Jun 25, 2010 8:54 am

Tomorrow we start playing the Lost World, the game the forum member JohnLeather released a few days ago. The game is a clone of Manic Miner and you can find it here:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=19352

So, the game has 50 levels and the scoring system is gold. Apart from the usual get as much gold as possible we have:
The solved levels award, for 5, 10, 25 and 40 levels solved.
The Lost world completion award for someone who will finish it.
And the: Lucky Coal miner award for 2500 gold
Lucky Silver miner award for 5000 gold
Gold miner award for 7500 gold
and Diamond miner award for 10000 gold or more.

If anyone has better suggestions for awards.. let us know. The round starts sometime tomorrow afternoon. Enjoy!

The Level design seems very good for the moment (dead at the lvl3).

Thorn is awarded the lucky silver miner award and Xerus is awarded the gold miner one. Well done!

We really need to make these awards a bit more apparent.

From now on you can also use the fixed D-Bug version. Many thanks to them and JohnLeather for making this possible.

Somehow I can feel why that Madmax tune was unreleased sofar...but the game feels right away a tad better.

First score: 2250
