STOT #2/6 Poll lets vote

Postby ThorN » Thu Nov 06, 2008 8:54 pm

Because of my job, I had not much time last week, and I had no time to chat with Christos about the next round. So I would say:

Lets suggest and vote for the game you like to play next. The first one who get 3 votes win.

I suggest and vote for STarioland.

I will be at the Kick Off World Championship this weekend, so I will return on Monday.

Have fun

I know I haven't taken part, but I'd recommend Apache Flight and Psyborg.

And if it can be worked into a competition Disc?

I was gonna suggest taking a leaf out of Stickhead's book and randomly picking a game, but then no one would agree on a game :P

I'll suggest Dragon Ninja for now, since I can't think of anything more suitable.

Dragon Ninja! Hows about Final Fight then? Did Renegade ever make it to the St? Metal Mutant?

Bit late for a Halloween Special of Super Cauldron, um . . Creatures, Elivira , etc.

Just in case, be carefull with Dragon Ninja because this game is more hard with 1MB !
My proposition: Tetris or a Tetris clone because for the moment we haven't play to this illustrious game !

Please explain! You mean more enemies are loaded or something?
I used to play this on my 4mb STFM, but the crack I had was either corrupt or broken and always crashed around the same point (seemed like 70% through the game) :( Just like SWIV...

Speaking of Tetris, what about Welltris to truly wreck our heads? :D Or Blockout. Was Pang played last season?

Blockout! Had (happily) forgotten about that game as couldn't get my head around it at all.

512ko version is less close in relation to the arcade game.
With 1MB you have more ennemies as women and for example you fight against the first boss on the train (halfway), etc.
It's a real challenge to finish this game with an extension :)

Nova. This is a nice, simple shoot-em-up. I'm sure if you could stay alive for 30 mins, you would get the highest score, so it's a very quick game to play.

PS in the atari legend comments it says there are only 5 levels that repeat. This isn't true! Also, I wouldn't call it a Space Invaders clone, it's quite different, the waves are completely different and you don't always have to kill every enemy to complete a level

How about Zap Stf coverdisk or Lobotomy Invaders, that game takes patience! And sea sickness tablets!

I guess it's up to me to choose a game, no 2 people chose the same... So I followed Desty's suggestion and went to Stickhead's survey to find a game. Needless to say that the game needs to be suitable for STOT. In my surprise I found that games up to number 36 were either not suitable or have been played before. So I present you with number 36. GODS.
The game has been patched for hd and higher end ataris by D-Bug.
