Steem 3.9.4

Postby fenarinarsa » Sat Dec 02, 2017 11:29 pm

I don't understand what the following upgrade note means:

Code: Select all

- Sound: STE DMA sound in 16bit mono.

Pro Sound Designer in 16bit (Wings of Death, Lethal XCess STF).

I can't find a mention of 16bit sound anywhere else ? Nothing about it either in Pro Sound Designer descriptions.

16bit means the sound option in Steem, compare v3.9.3 and 3.9.4!
Pro Sound Designer is 8bit.

Yes Steem 3.9.4 was released, the announcement is there but it didn't catch attention:

It may be a problem that it's buried in a long thread in the Development section, next time I open a thread per release, in Steem section, and the current version could be stickied like v3.2, which is up to this forum moderators.

Proper name would be Steem SSE xxx - as it is in Development section.
Famous Schrodinger's cat hypothetical experiment says that cat is dead or alive until we open box and see condition of poor animal, which deserved better logic. Cat is always in some certain state - regardless from is observer able or not to see what the state is.
