Can Steem Emulate Netusbee?

Postby TheNameOfTheGame » Tue Feb 16, 2016 7:18 pm

I have been using steem a bit more and it is really good. One thing I miss from the real machine though is the netusbee for network access.

Maybe I am missing something, but does steem have a plugin for this?

It would be good functionality to have the netusbee emulated and attached virtually to the windows network adapter.

Virtualbox does this and it even works with a DOS virtual machine.

Emulating some Atari peripheral requires lot of work, and of course knowing it's technical specs in detail.
Instead NetusBee emulation better (more universal) and I think easier would be emulation of TCP-IP protocol on Atari - hooked to network in Windows.
Negative feedback has usually positive effect.

Aren't there 3rd party commercial solutions that intercept or emulate IO from a RS232 port?
